Who We Are
Mission Statement: "We live Christ's love and proclaim His salvation to our community and world through Word and Sacraments."
Faith Lutheran Church in Jefferson City, Missouri, is affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Pastors and members confess forgiveness of sin and salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and confess the Bible to be the inspired Word of God.
Members of Faith Lutheran Church serve the local community and support the global ministry of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod through:
- Regular worship and administration of the Sacraments
- Opportunities for personal and group Bible study
- Christian Education through support of Trinity Lutheran School, Lutheran Higher Education, Confirmation Class for grades five through eight, Adult Inquirers' Class, LifeLight Bible Study, Vacation Bible School, and active Junior and Senior Youth Groups
- Opportunities for community outreach through the "Word of Faith" radio broadcast heard each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. on KWOS 950 AM and "Dial for Faith" at (573) 634-2000
- Outreach to the physical needs of the community through support of Heisinger Bluffs for the Elderly, Braille translation, and interpreted worship services for the deaf and hearing impaired
- Global mission outreach through support of sister missions in Panama and India, support of the Lutheran Hour Ministry, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Lutheran Bible Translators, and other mission work as opportunities arise.
