Services

You are heartily invited to attend our regularly scheduled worship services.

We have two services of worship on Sunday mornings - 8:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.

Sunday School and Bible Classes for all ages are held between services at 9:15 a.m.

In addition we have a contemporary "Faith Rocks" service every Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

During Advent (the weeks before Christmas) and Lent (the weeks before Easter) we also have special services on Wednesdays, both at noon and at 7:00 p.m. Come worship with us!

Advent and Lenten Meals: These are held during the respective calendar times on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. Different church groups, boards and organizations host these meals that also provide fellowship. For more information, contact Sally Armistead – 635-9249; Kay Niemeier – 893-4150.

Ash Wednesday Service: 12:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., with Communion.

Maundy Thursday Service: 12:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., with Communion.

Good Friday Service: 12:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Sunrise Service: Held at 7:00 a.m., Easter morning. For more information, contact the Church Office.

Easter Breakfast: Held on Easter morning following the Sunrise Service. For more information, contact the Church Office.

Flowering of the Cross: Held on Easter morning. For more information, contact the Church Office.

Confirmation Service: 10:30 a.m., on announced date.

New Member Dinner: This dinner is held annually the Wednesday following Confirmation to welcome new church members. For more information, contact Sally Armistead – 635-9249; Kay Niemeier – 893-4150.

Swim Party: A wiener roast and swim party for all members of Faith Lutheran Church at a public pool during summer months. For more information, contact Sally Armistead – 635-9249; Kay Niemeier – 893-4150.

Church Picnic: Usually held the second Sunday in September for all members of Faith Lutheran Church at Apple Creek Farm with swimming, fellowship, games, singing, good food and a short church service. For more information, contact Sally Armistead – 635-9249; Kay Niemeier – 893-4150.

Thanksgiving Dinner: Congregational dinner sponsored by the Junior Youth Group members and their parents that is usually held the Sunday before Thanksgiving. For more information, contact Margaret Meisel, 893-3898.

Thanksgiving Day Service: 9:00 a.m.

Children’s Christmas Service: This service is held on a variable date around Christmas. Participants are from the children’s Sunday School classes. For more information, contact the Church Office.

Christmas Eve Choral Service: 7:00 p.m., with Communion

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: 11:00 p.m., with Communion.

Christmas Day Service: 9:00 a.m., with Communion

New Year’s Eve Service: 7:00 p.m., with Communion.

Health Screenings: Under the direction of the Parish Nurse, provides health screenings to church members and public. For more information, contact Caryl Collier, Parish Nurse, at the Church Office.

Voter’s Meetings: Held twice a year on a Sunday at 7:00 p.m. For more information, contact the Church Office.
