11/04/18 - The purpose of the Divine Call process is to seek whom God is raising up to be our next Pastor. When we keep the Holy Spirit as our guide throughout the process, we see God’s hand through each step. The Call Committee has prayerfully deliberated and evaluated the candidates’ Pastoral Information Forms (PIFs) and Self-Evaluation Tools (SETs) received from district, as well as conducted personal interviews and listened to sermons on-line. The Call Committee will be prepared to present two recommendations to the congregation Sunday, November 11, along with biographical sketches of each candidate. This information will be presented in advance of the Sunday, November 18 Voter's meeting. Please contact any member of the Call Committee with comments or questions.
10/14/18 - Faith’s Call Committee has received a list of senior pastor candidates from the district. The Call Committee asks that you pray that the Holy Spirit work through them during the call process. Please contact any member of the Call Committee with comments or questions about the process.
08/05/18 - Congregational Survey Results are now available. 196 members (44.4% of our 2017 average Sunday attendance of 441) completed the survey. Hard copies are available on the usher table in the narthex, and a copy is posted on the bulletin board just outside the church office. Survey results may also be downloaded from our website, faithinjeffcity.org. Questions regarding the survey results or call process in general may be directed to any member of the Call Committee: There will now be a period of what may seem like inactivity while the district sorts through senior pastor nominees to provide Faith with a list of available candidates. The Call Committee will keep the congregation informed as events occur.
