Central American Lutheran Mission SocietyFaith Lutheran plans a yearly weeklong mission trip through Central American Lutheran Mission Society (CALMS) that allows participates to share the good news about Jesus through words and actions while growing in fellowship with Christians from different cultures. Activities vary by trip but have included Bible school camps for kids, English-as-a-second-language lessons at schools and home-building work. Team members pay a portion of the costs. Basic Spanish skills are helpful but not required, as translators are available. Teams normally travel in the summer, through precise dates vary by year.

Mercy Home Ministries
Faith Lutheran provides financial support and helping hands for the construction of homes in Central America. Weeklong work trips may pair Faith Lutheran team members with participants from other churches. Team members pay a portion of the costs.
