Service Opportunities
Dorcas Hand QuiltersThe Dorcas Hand Quilters is a Faith Lutheran group who meets for Christian fellowship and hand quilting. Our group hand quilts for members of Faith Lutheran as well as non-members. A fee is charged for the work on each quilt. The funds that the Dorcas Society receives are used for items and improvements needed for our church building. The Dorcas Society Hand Quilters meet on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Faith Lutheran Church. Click here to check the calendar for the next scheduled meeting.

Faith BrailleTranslating the Bible into braille is simple and easy to learn. It requires two hours once a month and can be done during the day or in the evening. This group manufactures the book of Judges in Swahili and a devotion book. Each month these books are mailed to countries world-wide. There are different teams that meet monthly. Join a team or grab some friends and create a new Braille team. No experience necessary. Besides being productive, it’s also a chance to be with fellow members. If you would like to serve in this capacity, please contact the Faith Office. We need your help to get this saving news of salvation to the blind!
